10 things you should do before you die (part2)

It is lovely, sunny Sunday to write something about all the things we didn't do yet but we have huge will and desire to do them in the future. Maybe sometimes we don't have courage to follow our dreams and everything seems so unreal ...  not good enough ... In world where everything is difficult and sometimes futile, only inspiration is breaking the rules and living on your own. You have to have something to rejoice. New job, new shoes, wedding, flight, meeting a friend, family reunion, her smile, his hand ... And after all, it is not important where are you coming from and what are you doing, it is important to have someone with whom you can do all those things you want.

1. Have a city in which you can always escape.
Nothing really feels so good as feeling when you arrive somewhere where you know that something or someone is waiting for you. Unconditionally. Without any question and hard stories. Just happines and joy.

2. Find a moment in day for yourself.
At the end of the day it's just you, isn't it? If you don't feel good about  yourself, no one else will.

3. Find every day reason to smile.
It can be anything you can thought of.

4. Learn how to jump over obstacles.
...and when you do, you don't have to worry about consequences.

5. Build memorable moments.
Flights, friends, places, dinners, going out, books, events etc.

6. Find at least 10 minutes per day to talk with your best friend and family.
It's only treasure that we have in life that nobody can take it from us if we fight for it.

7. Make a difference.
Stop doing things you don't fully enjoy.

8. Start over.
It's never too late.

9. Find a way you want to follow in the future.

10. Be yourself.
Conquer the world.

In the end it's not the things you do, the places you visit ... It's something stronger. The people you carry with youself where ever you're going, thought sthat are spinning in your head and most important memories you're making for  sharing with someone special.

Good morning Shanghai, 你好 !

欢迎到上海 !

Welcome on board this  flight to Shangai Pudong International Airport. (PVG)

Such a huge airport I have to say :)

Shanghai, China
Language: Chinese
Time Zone: UTC + 8
Currency: Yuan

As I am on reserve this month I don't have fixed roster. I was on airport standby with my suitcase when they called me for this flight. I had some kind of flu (reaction of flu vaccination) so I wasn't so in the mood for any flight. But what to expect when you are not expecting? Flight; neither more nor less China; Shanghai baby. About 7 hours. Although my ears were blocked because of really huge pressure in aircraft (+cold) that didn't stop me to go and see something of Shanghai city. Tipical China. Huge buildings & nice, green parks. Everybody who is doing this job probably cannot find right words to describe everything what we see or feel all around the world but pictures can always tell something.

Actually, secret - each of this image is picture from my window :)

But now, let me show you something else of small part of Shanghai that I saw.

Funny guy that wanted to sell me everything that he had.

 Red China wedding :)

 Police chilling

Sleeping outside

Although I had terrible body condition cause of my cold, I had nice time in Shanghai.  A lot of things I saw and more of that I din't but in life sometimes,  we have second chance to see what we missed; right?

"Travelling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things - air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky - all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it."

On all these trips I learn and see something new.
Here I learned that:
  • Chinese really BUT REALLY love to eat noodles,
  • they don't except our cards in shops cause they have some kind of special code on their cards
  • even if they don't understand what you are talking about they will use all forces to explain what they wanted to say
And for the end;
M. Twain once said:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover"

Even if you don't have courage to do the things you wanna do try to find someone who will encourage you to do it together. Life is short, you know?
Today we are here and tomorrow who knows?

Somewhere over the rainbow.
I am going to do thing I love to do, and you? Will you?
XOXO from me, till the next hot Saturday.
Love, E

Ghana time, Hello Accra!

Ghana; Accra
Language: English, Akan
Currency: Accra Cedis
Time Zone: + 4 hours

"We face neither East or West, we face forward"
Kwame Nkrumah ( leader of Ghana from 1951. - 1966.)

Welcome on board this Drama Queen flight Accra; Ghana!

After our common flight to amazing & my lovely country Austria, it's time to see something new about Africa.  Put some new minds and pictures in our heads.

Have you ever wonder how is really in Africa? Does it look like how they show us on TV or newspapers? Are they really poor or they have some treausures as well?

Yes and yes.

Yes they are poor and some part of the city is like some junkyard & yes some things are their wealth.  If you don't see it maybe you don't believe it.
Mother Teresa once said: "We know about poor people. It’s the poor people we don’t know.
Do you remember the time when you're sitting barefoot in a wooden chair while carving bowl, hoping to sell it for a piece of bread? Or maybe a time when you were all day on sun  with baby on your back, cathing turists to buy something that you reaped all by yourself? Can you imagine that you are living those scenarios?

We don't know anything except TV scenes or some tragical newspapers news. You can't feel something if you are not in that shoes or worse without any. I put myself momentous thoughts about people living dirty way of life, eating whatever and wherever. Looking in that bright, red eyes I could see desire for better and waiting for care. I wanted to give them anything that I have. My money, my clothes ...quarter of luck that I have but even that couldn't be enough.
Actually, I didn't see anything in that two days, imagine that I had week or month?

You cannot feel or see something that you don't wish to experience. And certainly you cannot  be something you don't want to become. If you are stuck in one moment, probably you will leave your roots there but if you feel like choosing most funniest and fabulous moments in your life you'll take care that you are in right direction.

So; my lovely readers, do something crazy this evening and take care.
Today you are there and maybe tomorrow ...? Who knows?

May the joy be with you this night,
xx, E
